Galena Fluffy’s Plans For World Domination

June 15, 2023

June 24th is shaping up to be a pretty pawspicious day: it’s Cat World Domination Day. Of course, Fluffy is already pretty well on the way here. Kitties have taken over a huge chunk of the internet. It’s also safe to say that many of our furry patients have their humans firmly wrapped around their paws. But what would happen if cats actually did take over the world? A local Galena, MD vet lists some of the things our feline overlords would demand in this article.

Cat Gardens

One thing your kitty would definitely want? A kitty garden. Catnip and Spider plants are usually Fluffy’s favorites, but she may also like having a variety of pet-safe plants to nibble on.

Aviaries

In addition to a moat, your feline pal would probably also insist on having stocked aviaries at her disposal. Fluffy may also want a moat or fishpond available, either in every house or at least one per block.

Home Codes

If Fluffy were to take over, we could possibly expect to see some changes in housing regulations. Cats would demand full size trees in every living room, and may very well insist on catwalks, bay windows, and catios be integrated as standard features.

Statues

Kitties certainly know and enjoy it when we honor them. We may expect to see massive statues of Fluffy erected in town squares and parks all over the world. (Actually, that sounds rather nice.)

Boxes

Given Fluffy’s box obsession, it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to expect that she would insist on having a set amount of boxes and box castles available at all times. Paper grocery bags may also make the list of demands.

Service On Demand

Kitties can be quite bold about asking for attention. Fluffy may meow, rub against your legs, or just jump into your lap when she wants you to pet her. That’s already purr for the course: the main difference we’d see would be legislation making furball pampering a requirement.

Not Much Else

Once Fluffy accomplished the things above, well, she’d probably consider her victory complete, and continue on with her regular napping schedule. Of course, she’d have more beds and perches to choose from.
